Host was very friendly and helpful. He provided dinner and breakfast for good price and also recommended activities to do in the area. Place has very homey feel and has everything one would need.

Perfect location to visit Gobustan (mud volcanoes and all the interesting places), quite comfortable room, quiet and peaceful. Kind, friendly and nice people, open to help and give the best advices. They also serve delicious traditional food made of local products. Parking outside for free. Hot water, wifi, nice heating in the room. Kettle to prepare you coffee or tea inside the room. Toilet ok. Everything was perfect. We would comeback.

Dinner and breakfast was offered for an additional fee, dinner was especially plentiful. The host is very kind and helpful. The rooms are nice and beautifully decorated.

Black Mountain Guest House is a really nice place to stay. The owner (Mr Iskandar) and his wife were very kind and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast and dinner was excellent - delicious home-cooked meals available on order. My room was comfortable, internet access is very good, and the location is close to Gobustan, the mud volcanoes, and the Caspian sea is five minutes walk away.

We had a very friendly welcome and received some good tips from the owner for swimming in the mud vulcanoes. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.

It’s a beautiful property and the decor is lovely ! The food was great and the people were so helpful! We had car trouble and our host went above and beyond to help us! Honestly words cannot describe how grateful I am! We booked here on our way out and had to book again because we wanted something that was homely and safe!

The owner is a very kind and direct person. He was waiting for us with cold melon and delicious, his own wine He gave a lot of useful information to visit the attractions in the area. He knows everything and is informed. The breakfast served by the pool was fantastic.

For us, the location was ideal because the guesthouse is on the drive between Baku and Gobustan mud volcano tourism centre. We couldn't have asked for better accommodation for the amount paid - it was comfortable, the room was lovely and cool, there is outdoor seating in the shade and we also bought dinner and breakfast, both of which were home cooked and delicious! We didn't get to use the communal cooking area and big shower next to it, but those are good facilities for anyone staying more than one night. Their cat also had four young kittens which provided us with much entertainment 😂
